capacity! The Solution Architecture role offers the opportunity to
build, shape, innovate and evolve the products responsible for
delivering on our enterprise goals through modernized the data
analytics capabilities, strong data architecture and cloud-based
technologies. Leveraging strategic thinking, strong problem-solving
skills, experience, and a sense of urgency you will work with
business and IT partners to ensure analytics products and platforms
deliveredto help us achieve our enterprise ambitions.Reporting to
the Director of Advance Analytics, the Solution Architect is
accountable and responsible for creating and evolving our data and
analytics solution architecture based on requirements and outcomes,
industry trends, and technology options. You will partner with
enterprise architecture to research and evaluate technology that
can deliver on, and transform, Conagras enterprise goals. You will
be accountable and responsible for reducing product and portfolio
complexity and technical debt while applying a platform first
strategy.You Will (Position Responsibilities):
- Take accountability for the development and evolution of Data &
Analytics capabilities in partnership with business and IT
partners
- Apply detailed experience or working knowledge of Analytics
Platforms, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and IoT
(Internet of Things) concepts to establish a fundamental
architectural capability ecosystem to support business goals and
value generation across the enterprise
- Develop creative solutions and approaches to enable actionable
data-driven insights from trusted data assets
- Drive the self-service analytics strategy to scale across the
enterprise while putting the required governance in place
- Collaborate with partners to identify use case opportunities to
implement advanced analytics solutions essential for enterprise
goals
- Assess the technical effectiveness and architectural fitness of
new and existing Data & Analytics platforms
- Establish and bring adherence to data security, integration,
and governance standards ensuring a consistent architecture
framework
- Manage the life cycle of assigned Data & Analytics
platforms
- Up to 10% business travel might be required
- Preferably based in Chicago, IL, or in Omaha, NEYou Have
(Position Qualifications):Required
- Bachelors degree in engineering/science from accredited
university plus 10+ years of experience in IT (mostly within
data/systems engineering & architecture), or graduate degree in
Data Science/Analytics with 7+ years of experience in IT
- Experience or working knowledge of several programming
languages (Python, R, SQL, Spark), and platforms/environments
(Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure Data Lake)
- Experience designing data science pipelines and optimizing
AI/ML workflows, in both batch and real-time analytics
implementations
- Experience designing architecture for custom development of
Data & Analytics solutions, preferably in the areas of Supply
Chain, Finance and HR
- Preference will be given to candidates who are legally
authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer
sponsorship either now or in the futurePreferred
- Experience working with augmented BI (Business Intelligence)
and self-service analytics tools
- Good understanding of DevOps, DataOps and MLOps engineering
leveraging CI/CD practices
- Experience working in matrix organization with business and IT
partners
- Experience translating complex technical concepts to business
leaders, and business problems to technical resources
- Experience delivering products under the Scaled Agile Framework
(SAFe)
- Experience working with JIRA / Confluence
- Experience in creating RFIs and evaluating functional and
non-functional capabilities of new vendors through a structured
PoC/PoV process
- Working knowledge of software licensing agreements
- Experience with UX design principles to incorporate into
