General Summary: Under general supervision, using ultrasound equipment produces two-dimensional ultrasound images of internal organs for use by Radiologists in the diagnosis of disease and the study of malfunction of organs. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job. Explains procedure to patient, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust. # Location: Edward Hospital - main campus # Hours:PRN/Registry - as needed # Required: High School Diploma or GED Certified or proof of eligibility for certification (i.e., letter of eligibility issued by accredited school) by ARRT (S) or ARDMS Must be certified and currently registered as RDMS (OB or AB), RT(S), RT (VS), RVT, or RVS within twenty-four months of eligibility or 6 months of start date into position Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association # Preferred: A minimum of an Associate#s Degree or higher Vascular experience, Breast experience, General Abdomen experience, OB/GYN experience, MSK experience, Pediatric experience General Summary: Under general supervision, using ultrasound equipment produces two-dimensional ultrasound images of internal organs for use by Radiologists in the diagnosis of disease and the study of malfunction of organs.
