IF YOU HAVE A GOOD TECHNICAL TROUBLESHOOTING EXPERINCE, WE NEED TO TALK!Position is based out of Elk Grove VillageDescription:The Connection Support Specialist is a member of the Connection Services team within Client Operations. This person is responsible for monitoring the exchange of information between the WFN and customers and their third party vendors (e.g., payroll processors, insurance carriers, Third Party Administrators, etc.).RESPONSIBILITIES:Data Export Management-- Monitor the status of connections that have been moved to a production status. Investigate and resolve issues/bugs with existing code. Work with Account Managers, Engineers, and customers to determine best practices for connection design.Connection Support-- Serve as technical resource for Account Managers and Customer Service Representatives with questions regarding active connections. Participate in conference calls with customers or prospects with connection questions.Point of Contact with Third Party Vendors-- Maintain primary contact information for each third party vendor with whom we have a connection. Work with these contacts to track new release dates for their systems, obtain updated file specifications, and identify the impact of any changes on existing connections. Maintain a library of file specifications.Make modifications to existing connection code as requested by clientTest connections to ensure accuracy of transmission of data.Employee Value Proposition (EVP)-GREAT experience on resume; not easy to get foot in the door in this company so this is great opportunity -close, family like culture-hybrid work environment Fortune 500 company, they are the industry leader within Software payroll, Benefits, HRIS help, etc. - 1000 person building, there is room to grow - tons. Most management and Team Leads came through this contract role, permanent and are now leading the charge. - Cafeteria on each floor, main cafeteria downstairs to 'grab and go.' - Arcade room, huge TV screening on first floor (people were watching Wimbledon when we were there).- This is a role where if they show your worth and you want to be there long-term, they will find you a home. - White Elephant parties on Christmas time. - Potlucks, weekly Lunches/breakfasts. - They don't treat or see these people as 'temps' and include them on everything permanent employees do as well.IDEAL CANDIDATE:- entry level grad with a computer science or technology type degree- technical troubleshooting experience/technical call center -strong CS/call center candidate with a passion or hobby for IT, troubleshooting, EDI file familiarity soft skill musts:

  • patient: understands it will take time to learn and get up and running (can take up to a year)
  • asks questionsWork Environmenthybrid: 3 days on-site in EGV, 2 days remotestandard first shift M-FPay Rate $21.00/hrExperience Level:Intermediate Level
