Find your fit in one of our National Projects roles.In this role the Business Continuity Coordinator II will be responsible to lead business continuity objectives, recommend process improvements, and provide innovation while working with all essential business functions as well as key committees. The ideal candidate will have experience in business continuity framework design, application, and implementation utilizing various resource platforms that focus on conducting risk assessments, business impact analysis, and developing action plans to ensure resiliency across the business. The BC Coordinator should have an educational background in Business, Management, or Disaster Recovery, and experience in the business continuity field. The objective of this role is to collaborate with stakeholders and assist in building a Business Continuity Management program that can be scaled globally.Position Type: Full-TimeWork Location:Naperville, ILThis role is eligible to participate in ALDIs Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 3 days per week(i.e., work remotely up to 3 days per week; work in-office at least 2 days per week).Duties and Responsibilities:Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Informs leader of status and results of assigned tasks and proactively identifies project issues and recommends corrective action as appropriate. Provides information and innovation for training materials related to the Business Continuity program for key stakeholders and business critical leaders. Keeps up to date on external best practices and relevant changes to their field/area and communicates updates to leadership. Recommends process improvements for area of responsibility. Leads Business Continuity programs and projects according to the positions objectives upon their direct leaders request. Assists leadership in implementation and roll-out of projects. Assists in implementing Business Impact Analysis and Risk Assessments to identify critical business functions. Coordinates and partners with multiple business stakeholders. Designs and produces regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards. Maintains and updates the Business Continuity Program, at a minimum annually, and all supplementing documentation, including contacts, existing documentation, and appendences. Works with designated groups to ensure critical processes are identified and action plans developed to mitigate impact in the event of a business disruption. Coordinates exercise and testing efforts, including tabletop exercises, event response simulations, and after-action review. Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to leadership. Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility. A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Business Continuity required. Knowledge of Business Continuity methodology and program implementation experience preferred. Experience in retail industry or global corporate enterprise preferred. Advanced degree and/or certifications preferred. Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.Physical Requirements: Work is performed in an office environment where a computer, telephone and other office equipment are used as needed to perform duties. Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another. Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
