The Accounts Receivable Lead Specialist lead a team of two, apply cash, manage aged accounts receivable portfolio and establish credit lines.This role is onsite at our office , 40 hours per week.Detailed Responsibilities:The Accounts Receivable Lead Specialist supervises and directs the work of both the Collections Specialist and A/R Specialist . This team member reports to the Director of Credit. Manage customer accounts and review payment and credit history for customer base Learn our current best practices to minimize credit risk, D&B , liens, bonds or personal guarantees. Review delinquent accounts and payment disputes and manage collections on these items. Collaborate with senior management, and sales team on developing strategies to resolve any issues preventing payment. Lead regular aged A/R portfolio review and seek guidance from Director of Credit when necessary. Comfortable regularly communicating with customers by phone and email. Manage a team of two. Help develop employee potential, by using coaching skills and creating individual development plans. Evaluate employee performance and review compensation following company procedures.Required Experience3-5 plus years business to business commercial credit and collections experience.Desire to lead a teamWell organized multi-tasker with A+ communication skills, written and verbalAbility to work onsite each dayPreferred ExperienceDistribution or Construction industry credit experienceLien placement experienceBachelors degree
