This role will support the preparation and execution of various events from tradeshows to employee and corporate partner events and work cross functionally with teams and stakeholders. As with all positions at KeHE Distributors, we expect that all actions will be consistent with KeHE's Mission, Vision, and Values.Essential FunctionsDUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Provides support in preparation and execution of the following events:Tradeshows (internal and external)KeHE Cares Shaw CupEmployee EventsCorporate Partner EventsBuilds and maintains relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, suppliers, and retailers.Monitors and answers questions in the department email inboxes.Assists in the coordination, planning, and execution of special projects and events such as pre-event communications, attendee registration, supplier and vendor coordination, sponsor fulfillment and tracking, sponsor correspondence, clerical support, and post-event support.Gathers, enters, and keeps all event documents accurate and up to date in a timely manner.Supports the team onsite at events as needed.Assists with financial reconciliation such as processing invoices and collecting sponsor payments.Coordinates event setup, tear down and follow-up processes.Creates reports and summary dashboards including sales reports, attendee registration files, email marketing lists, sales goal dashboards, etc.Collects quantitative and qualitative data from events and marketing campaigns to compile findings.Assists with updating and maintaining departmental documentation, databases, assets, and reports.Assists with video and photo shoots.Assists with the production of departmental communications, both internal and external.Supports brand compliance and execution of internal and external usage of company logos and wordmarks.Other duties and projects as assigned.SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written with all organizational levels both internally and externally.High energetic self-starter and able to be a team player.Strong writing and content creation skills.Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint).Entry level Adobe creative skills.Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUPS, pivot tables, conditional formatting, etc.People oriented with strong customer relationship skills.Strong presentation skills including listening and asking impactful questions.Strong attention to detail.Ability to effectively manage tasks simultaneously and prioritize critical tasks.Desire to learn about the company and career growth within the company.Ability and willingness to work flexible hours and travel domestically for events which may include some weekends as events occur partially or completely over weekends.Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, AptitudeEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or GED is required.Minimum 2 years of administration experience.Experience with event planning is a plus.Experience with digital communications design and scheduling software such as Constant Contact, MailChimp, Canva is preferred.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.Requisition ID2024-23371Equal Employer Opportunity StatementKeHE Distributors provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits all forms of discrimination and harassment on the basis of race, color, religion or faith, sex, gender, age, ancestry, national origin, mental or physical disability or medical condition, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, military or veteran status, genetic information, or any other category protected under federal, state, or local law.
