Primary Role

This position is responsible for developing and design of analytical tools that drive improvement of operational and financial performance across all segments of the Field Operations function. The Senior Analyst will lead strategic planning initiatives by providing data-driven strategy recommendations, develop proposals for achieving strategic cost savings and opportunities to capitalize on business performance opportunities. Responsible for but not limited to reporting on performance, fraud trends, performance metrics, strategy performance analytics, and development of new reporting tools.

Key Accountabilities

Perform detailed financial analysis including budget and forecast variance analysis, profitability analysis, and key performance indicator calculations highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances. - Assist Claims Manager and Business Planning in budgeting and reforecasting budget for COGS throughout the year and assist with financial modeling for reasonableness and consistency suggesting changes to assumptions when appropriate. - Prepare monthly and ad-hoc reporting for the business utilizing analytical skills and tools to determine opportunities to identify provider or customer behavior and trends for helpful and harmful factors related to COGS. - Design and provide materials to present to various teams and management in digestible pieces in clear and concise manner of the opportunities relevant to process owners and drive recommended actions. Act as the liaison between teams to assist with building a project around the identified opportunity then execute and measure the success of implementation of the enhancements. - Proactive in identifying, assessing and measuring areas of concern and demonstrating initiative, independently and collaboratively recommending corrective courses of action and work to meet shared objectives. - Support the Claims Management team and other Field Operations functions in leading "deep dives" conducting analysis, generating insights and developing strategies and leading implementation for productivity and cost improvement opportunities. - Define requirements and perform testing of system enhancements that provide data elements for reporting include those of automatic generation of reports updates covering strategy performance metrics.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to think creatively. - Ability to function independently and efficiently in carrying out assigned tasks of interpreting large amounts of data to accurately identify business needs, delivering recommendations for different audiences into digestible material. - Highly organized, detail-oriented, and driven with a strong work ethic and demonstrated teamwork skills. - Self-starter with the ability to multitask and work effectively in a dynamic environment with fluctuating workload and aggressive timelines while promptly delivering timely and accurate analysis. - Exceptional strategic acumen, problem-solving skills, analytical capabilities, and instill trust through honesty, integrity, and authenticity - Able to be accountable for making good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.
  • 7-10 years as a Strategy Analyst, Financial Analyst, or Financial reporting, planning and analysis - 5-7 years of experience using data analysis tools (SQL Server, Tableau), data query reporting, in addition, intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel is required - Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Microsoft Bi or other analytical tools.

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent experience.
