Chief Architect Designer

HomeWerks is an Interior Design Build firm with our corporate
office and showroom in Naperville, IL. Our team is expanding, and
we are seeking to add an experienced interior design professional.
This creative designer role will support sales and production and
have a proficiency in Chief Architect Software. You will design,
draft develop and design 3D renderings and construction documents
for custom interior projects. This is NOT a sales role.

The Chief Architect Designer will:
Draft project floorplans and elevations, as well as the assembly of
specifications for appliances and plumbing fixtures
Working closely with sales reps to provide feedback and suggestions
to ensure the project meets the customer's needs and provides
maximum value to their home
Identify potential problems in the design and proposing
Source Cabinet pricing and order processing
Providing detailed, accurate construction drawings that allow for a
successful build by our tradespeople
This is the person we're looking for:
5+ years project design and construction experience
5+ years interior design skills
Proficiency in Chief Architect required
Proven skills and successes related to creative design,
construction & space planning
A deep understanding of NKBA design guidelines
High attention to detail, specifically cabinet construction and
Experience in drawing software and hand sketching is a plus
