In this role the Legal & Compliance Analyst II will be responsible
for specific legal operations and compliance tasks including but
not limited to: legal holds, policy creation and management,
training programs, internationally driven compliance initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with certain
policies related to conflicts of interest, vendor/supplier
screening, code of conduct, antitrust, etc., have experience
working collaboratively and cross-departmentally on multi-project
initiatives, and experience in risk assessments. The ideal
candidate will have an educational background in Legal &
Compliance.

This role is eligible to participate in ALDIs Hybrid Work Program,
which allows remote work up to 3 days per week(i.e., work remotely
up to 3 days per week; work in-office at least 2 days per week)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable
accommodation.
Works with company leadership to provide adequate information to
staff to ensure that they have requisite information and knowledge
of regulatory issues and legal requirements to carry out their
responsibilities in a lawful and ethical manner.
Liaises and coordinates as appropriate with outside legal counsel,
assists in conducting or authorizing and overseeing investigations
of matters that merit investigation under the compliance
program.
Monitors, identifies, recommends revisions and advises management
on the compliance program and compliance risk areas.
Recommends process improvements for area of responsibility.
Evaluates business activities relating to compliance.
Creates and implements compliance policies and procedures.
Coordinates resources to ensure the ongoing effectiveness of the
compliance program.
Assists in developing educational programs for all employees,
agents, contractors, or others working with the organization.
Assists in presenting educational programs on compliance topics to
employees.
Assists in ensuring that internal controls are capable of
preventing and detecting significant instances or patterns of
illegal, unethical, or improper conduct by employees, agents,
contractors, or others working with the organization.
Provides input and/or direction to company policies and procedures
and the performance appraisal and incentive programs to ensure that
improper conduct is discouraged and the support of any conformity
with the compliance program is part of any performance evaluation
process for all employees.
Assists in development of investigation plans.
Oversees follow-up and resolution to investigations, assisting in
drafting final reports upon conclusion of investigations.
Tracks all issues referred to the Legal & Compliance team.
Researches statutes, cases, status of pending matters,
administrative rules and decisions, pending legislation, and/or
regulatory and compliance requirements and provides initial
analysis and recommendation for review by an attorney.
Develops productive working relationships with all levels of
management.
Assists in presenting periodic and annual reports on the compliance
program to company leadership and International (IFA).
Prepares reports for the company leadership on matters involving
compliance.
Attends and assists in giving presentations on compliance topics
during regularly scheduled meetings with management.
Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant
information to leadership.
Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data
within area of responsibility.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in business, finance or a related field
required.
A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Corporate Legal
or Compliance required.
Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent
knowledge.
Physical Requirements:
Work is performed in an office environment where a computer,
telephone and other office equipment are used as needed to perform
duties.
Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one
area to another.
Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25
lbs.
