Job Description:
Central Sterile Processing Tech-LeadGeneral Summary: Under
supervision of the Central Sterile Processing (CSP) Manager and
Supervisor, the Lead CSP Technician coordinates the activities of
sterile processing technicians as they carry out the day-to-day
functions of decontamination, assembly, sterilization and
distribution of instrumentation and supplies.# Lead all areas of
assignment to ensure that policies and procedures and safety rules
are observed and work results in a smooth and productive workflow.
Location: Edward campus Hours: Full time, nights. Required: High
School Diploma or GED Certification as a sterile processing
technician obtained through the Certification Board for Sterile
Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) or the International
Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management
(IAHCSMM) Six months of previous certified CSP experience
Preferred: Recent charge or lead technician experience
