Description:Role: Supply Chain Inventory Control Materials and
Distribution AssociateStart Date: ASAPEnd Date: October 31, 2023
(possibility of extension)Location: Lemont, ILUS Citizen
RequiredCandidates must be able to commute to the "ship to" address
on a daily basis. The AC will be onsite at the customer
facility.Can exceed posted rate within Market rates- please keep in
mind candidates are being competitively bid and please outline
details in drawer statement.General Job Responsibilities:---
Perform counts and ensure all inventory is accounted for and
reported according to company policy--- Maintain adequate inventory
levels to meet customer demand--- Investigate and correct
discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all
inventory--- Assess inventory output on a daily, weekly, or monthly
basis to identify trends in productivity--- Manage cycle counts of
product inventories on a regular basis--- Monitor delivery schedule
and customer orders--- Place and receive orders in a timely and
accurate manner--- File claims when defective products are
discovered--- Coordinate with customer service and logistics
departments--- Check date-sensitive products for expiration and
facilitate removal or transfer of product as needed--- Establish
trusted relationships with partners and suppliers to ensure quality
service and cost-effective dealsJob Specific Responsibilities:---
Provide weekly reporting of on-hand, consumed and defective
material--- Maintain segregation of material--- Learn and become
proficient on various Pointnext Supply Chain tools and processes:
Konnect, SFDC, SharePoint, SmartStores--- Open "cases" which allows
the proper management and ordering of materialRequirements:--- 3+
years' experience in supply chain roles and organizations. Able to
apply developed network for rapid and effective problem solving.---
Experience in a high demand role managing multiple parts and high
volume rotations.--- Strong analytical skills--- Excellent written
and verbal communication skills.---Able to influence people in
other organizations and other functional groups to complete tasks
on time and at quality necessary to ensure success.--- An
understanding of administrative/clerical software and inventory
management software is especially helpful--- High level of
initiative and independence
