Senior Analyst, ReportingHours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00
pm, 40 Hours/ WeekSummary of Duties: Prepare reports of findings,
illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into
written text. Collect and analyze data on physician behavior,
patient enrollment form writing activity, responsiveness to sales
calls and other physician factors affecting product demand. Conduct
research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies,
collaborating with marketing professionals, statisticians,
pollsters, and other professionals. Devise and evaluate methods and
procedures for ensuring data integrity. Builds, optimizes, and
automates data processes and recurring reports to assist in
delivering business insights for our Gout medicine, with a strong
focus on the Sales, Marketing and Operations teams through
providing custom, data-driven analytics support. Optimize
field-based and management level reporting and KPIs for measuring
commercial effectiveness. Build back end processing and coding. Use
knowledge of and experience in the manipulation of large data sets
using software such as SAS or Microsoft SQL Server, PowerBI, VBA,
and Python. Assist in monthly tracking of prescription forecast
performance vs. actuals using Excel and SQL. Execute standard data
analysis in support of brand planning using Excel and SQL. Drive
initial build and continuous improvement of sales force and
internal reporting to ensure optimal insights can be identified
from data and translated into actionable information. Provide
accurate and in-depth analyses to cross-functional leadership teams
and serve as an integral part of the extended corporate and
commercial team(s). Collaborate with cross-functional teams,
bringing an enhanced understanding of available data, analyses, and
brand performance.Qualifications: Position requires a Bachelor's
degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical
Engineering, Math, or a related field of study and four (4) years
of experience in the Pharmaceutical industry or in Business
Analytics Consulting, including experience in Analytics, Market
Research, and/or Sales Analytics.Position requires 4 years of
experience with the following: Data management and Data Platforms
(such as Microsoft SQL Server); Developing and presenting solutions
to complex business situations, leveraging novel recommendations
supported with thorough analytics; Analytical and software skills
aimed at data analysis; Generating reports with KPI using advanced
Excel techniques; Designing end-to-end process - Data Extraction
(from IBM DB2) to Report Delivery utilizing SSIS, SQL Server, SSRS,
Microsoft Excel, Tableau; Create and maintain SSIS packages,
extracting and transforming data stored in flat files and
spreadsheets; Developing reports and resolving data related ad-hoc
requests from internal stakeholders; Converting and automating
existing reports from SEQUEL ViewPoint to SSRS per business
