Fleet Maintenance, you will ensure the execution of Human Resources
(HR) policies and strategic initiatives within the Fleet
Maintenance Department, assist managers and employees with
day-to-day HR activities and compliance, and work with leadership
to ensure HR programs and initiatives are enhancing the delivery of

and evaluate HR programs and supporting systems to ensure an
integrated approach to all practices, policies and
proceduresActively engage new employees and facilitate an
understanding of the culture, ethics and expectationsLeverage HR
knowledge to gather insight and develop new programs to engage and
retain employee populationMaintain the highest levels of
confidentiality, professionalism, attention to detail and customer
serviceDevelop inclusive strategies to reward and recognize
employeesProvide input to the Talent Acquisition team on developing
strategic workforce plans that focus on a diverse and equitable
workforce and on recruitment and retention strategiesEstablish and
maintain trustworthy partnerships with employees through a
dedicated focus to relationship-buildingDesign and develop an
effective succession planning process to ensure management and
professional readiness to meet the growth plans of the
businessProvide support to the Vice President - Maintenance and his
field based leadership team across the US as well as partner with
field HR, Legal, Compensation, Corporate HR, Recruiting, L&D
and other support functions to drive achievement of department
goalsEnforce a performance-driven culture through the development
and implementation of consistent performance management coaching
and counseling techniquesConsult with and mentor managers on
employee relations issues; ensure that appropriate corrective
actions are consistently administered and provide leadership to
assess, investigate, mediate and correct issuesUtilizes results
from employee engagement surveys to ensure planned improvements are
relevantWhat you need to succeed at XPO:At a minimum, you'll
need:Bachelor s degree or equivalent related work or military
experience7 years of relevant HR experience, including experience
in project management, change management, Compensation, and HR
strategy developmentExperience with HRIS systems such as
SuccessFactorsIt'd be great if you also have:Bachelor's degree in
HR, Business, Communications orProfessional in Human Resources
(PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or other HR
certification or designationAvailability to work a flexible
schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may
include weekends; regular travel to field locations across the USBe
