Job Summary
We seek an eCommerce Performance and Pricing Analyst to help
accelerate growth of the eCommerce business (Amazon, other Pure
Play customers, and Omnichannel customers). This individual will be
responsible for helping execute Wilton's eCommerce strategy,
including interpreting and presenting digital KPIs to a variety of
stakeholders and providing analysis and insights on both our
products and competitive set to optimize and grow our business.
The position requires the ability to apply analytical and critical
thinking skills to solve business problems and collaborate
cross-functionally to identify and execute data-driven
opportunities to drive a robust presence across eCommerce
customers. -This individual will play an integral role in inspiring
a high-performance and feedback culture as well as enabling the
Wilton Brands vision, mission & values across the company. -This
role will report to the eCommerce Manager.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Own the weekly and monthly reporting on eCommerce business
performance, highlighting drivers and detractors; perform
root-cause analyses on variances to forecast; continually strive to
improve existing reporting through automation
- Support Pure Play/Amazon Account Manager in end-to-end
execution of Amazon strategy, including but not limited to creating
and maintaining product listings/ASINs and uploading product detail
page (PDP) content; pricing setup, monitoring, and optimization;
financial performance analysis, etc.
- Maintain, develop, and present accurate and timely KPI
reporting for the entire eCommerce business
- Identify, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to deliver
actionable insights
- Set up data processes to minimize manual work within the team
to create efficiencies
- Support the Sales team to build business cases and dashboards
that will drive strategy for accelerating eCommerce sales
- Lead and continually review competitive intelligence process
including competitor and product recommendations, integrity of
competitive data, reporting, analytical review and price
recommendations with impacts, whilst ensuring competitive
tolerances are maintained within pricing architecture and
strategy
- Trouble shoot and problem solve pricing issues in SAP and
seller portals (e.g., Amazon Seller Support)
- Process and maintain pricing in SAP and conduct promo event
audit and validation
- Assist in the creation of the annual budget based on sales plan
and manage spending throughout the year to hit budgeted
plan
- Perform ad hoc pricing analysis across all eCommerce customers,
including regular pricing and promotion reviews with
recommendations to optimize purchase behavior and projected
impacts
- Collaborate and partner with cross-functional eCommerce team
and external partners to share best practices, foster effective
collaboration, and drive business outcomes
Education and Experience:
- BS or MS degree in a Marketing, Data Analytics, Finance,
Statistics, etc.
- 2-3 years of experience in the CPG industry with a strong
background in Digital Commerce
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to apply a statistical mindset and quantitative
outcomes to business problems
- Knowledge of financial metrics, P&L, and their drivers of
success
- Strong familiarity and proficiency in Excel a must, with an
aptitude to find creative solutions to cleaning and organizing
data
- Exposure to SQL & Tableau preferred, or strong appetite to
learn and develop these skills
- Understanding of digital platforms and data tools such as
Amazon Vendor Central, Stackline, Numerator, Jungle Scout, Nielsen,
etc.
- Sound problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly
process complex information and present it clearly and simply via
reports and presentations
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to relay complex
technical concepts and align organization on decisions
- Strong ownership mindset, with proven ability to manage
multiple responsibilities, meet tight deadlines, and perform well
in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Intellectually curious mindset and desire for continuous
learning and improvement outside scope or knowledge
skillset
- Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn and understand
concepts, multi-task, investigate issues, solve problems, promote
efficiency/automation, make decisions, manage processes, and work
independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with Baking & Cake Decorating categories
preferred
