The OpportunityDescriptionWe're looking for a Food Production Worker, working in the Manufacturing industry in Carol Stream, Illinois, United States.Our Client has immediate openings for experienced Food Production Worker at our Carol Stream, IL manufacturing facility. Our current openings are on the 2nd shift, with schedules that offer improved work-life balance.We offer medical, dental, vision, and 401 (k) benefits as well as earned PTO. Salary is up to $16.50 per hour based on qualifications.Summary:Safely and efficiently operate a variety of processing and packaging equipment involved in the preparation of liquid and dry blend products. To include but not limited to such activities as weighing, combining, and mixing materials, monitoring and manipulating materials at various stages of processing; filling various sized containers; and preparing products for shipping.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.Work safely and follow all safety rules.Follow all formulating as specified.Read and understand the Manufacturing Process Sheet or Sheets (Blend Sheet).Fill out all production paperwork accurately and on time.Assemble raw materials by product name and Lot No. as described on the Work Order.Weigh raw materials or ingredients accurately as instructed by the amounts directed on the Work Order.Mix according to directions by procedure, lab, or Supervisor, and take a sample of the finished batch to the supervisor in a timely manner.Experience Required for Your SuccessExperience working in a Manufacturing EnvironmentAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentUnderstand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety trainingMust be able to understand verbal and written instructionsTroubleshoot problems and report issuesMust work well in a team environmentAbility to be on feet up to 8-12 hours per shiftUse of hands and fingers to perform job functionAbility to stoop, kneel, bend and climbAbility to lift up to 35lbsby Jobble
