In this role, the Claims Analyst II will help lead Workers'
Compensation and General Liability claims management
responsibilities, including projects and initiatives, working with
their internal Risk & Safety teammates as well as teams across the
company. They will be responsible for developing project plans,
meeting with designated project stakeholders, understanding
companywide communication needs and writing communication
deliverables. They will have the opportunity to build their
strategic problem solving and business relationship skills, while
also recommending new processes and procedures. The ideal candidate
should have strong written and verbal communication skills and an
attention to detail, be adaptable and a go-getter, and maintain a
passion for executing projects. The objective of this role is to
lead internal Risk & Safety projects that support companywide
initiatives.
Position Type: Full-TimeStarting Salary: $95,000Salary Increases:
Year 2 - $100,000 - Year 3 - $105,000Work Location: Naperville,
ILThis role is eligible to participate in ALDI's Hybrid Work
Program, which allows remote work up to 3 days per week (i.e., work
remotely up to 3 days per week; work in-office at least 2 days per
week).Duties and Responsibilities: -

--- Provides proactive analysis of current projects and analytical
review of reported results to update and inform their leader for
ongoing projects.
--- Liaises and collaborates with vendor partners such as
third-party administrators.
--- Recommends process improvements for area of responsibility.
--- Executes team projects from their assignment through
implementation.
--- Assists in evaluation of feasibility, effectiveness and
efficiency of projects and initiatives.
--- Prepares and updates project plans, monthly status reports, and
proposes milestones and deadlines for new and ongoing
initiatives.
--- Assists in analyzing current working procedures and identifying
best practices.
--- Understands and analyzes emerging risks or mitigation
strategies.
--- Helps coordinate and facilitate claim reviews and stewardship
meetings.
--- Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant
information to leadership.
--- Complies with ALDI privacy and security requirements and
policies if job responsibilities include possible access to
confidential and/or sensitive information.

Education and Experience:

--- Bachelor's Degree in Risk, Safety Management, Business
Administration or a related field required.
--- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Risk
Management, Safety or Legal Services required.
--- Or, a combination of education and experience providing
equivalent knowledge. -

Physical Requirements:

--- Work may be performed in an office, remote office or a
combination of both where a computer and office equipment may be
used as needed to perform duties.
--- Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from
one area to another.
--- Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
--- Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to
25 lbs. -
