Expectations: · Monitors and facilitates daily material
requirements and key performance indicators (KPI) to ensure
production schedules are met. · Monitors the status of production
jobs, identifies constraints, determines root cause, and implements
or recommends corrective action to ensure timely and efficient
production effort. · Manages key performance metrics, including
on-time start, on-time delivery, past-due sales, and days on hand
inventory. · Supports process adherence and master data accuracy
for demand planning, replenishment, and inventory optimization. ·
Analyzes and initiates steps to minimize the financial and
operations impact of carrying excess, obsolete, and expired
materials. · Works closely with vendors, in conjunction with
procurement, to ensure priorities are aligned. · Identifies and
communicates shortages or increased lead times to cross-functional
teams, including buyers. · Interfaces with Engineering,
Manufacturing, and Quality to ensure timely throughput and proper
prioritization of materials received. · Participates with
production and operations teams to maintain optimal inventory
levels and prioritize materials needed based on MRP analysis. ·
Manages and updates appropriate item information in the Material
Requirement Planning (MRP) system for best turns and cost of
product. · Participates in the development of new product
introductions (NPI) and design changes by creating and monitoring
build plans, releasing jobs, etc., to enable the project team to
achieve objectives for new product integration. · Works with
Production and Quality to coordinate job changes to account for
rework or additional process changes. Qualifications: · Bachelor’s
degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or
related field. Or equivalent experience. · Minimum 3 years’
experience in supply chain, procurement, or planning in a
Manufacturing environment. · Proficient with production planning
systems, M2M highly desirable · Strong written and verbal
communication skills. · Strong reasoning and negotiation skills. ·
Strong organizational skills. · Demonstrated Project Management
skills – taking a project from start to finish. · Ability to manage
multiple priorities. · Strong attention to detail and analytical
skills. · Self-directed; ability to work independently and within
teams. · Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, with high
proficiency in Microsoft Excel. · This position may require use of
information or access to hardware which is subject to the
International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Requirements:
