Job Description:
Description: Under the direction of the VP of Sales, this
position is responsible for providing various levels of
administrative and project management support to the sales
leadership team. Responsibilities:-- Work closely with sales
leadership to inspect sales process effectiveness; identify areas
of process improvement and optimization -- Provide scheduling
support and calendar maintenance to the sales leadership team --
Provide marketing support for sales presentations, ordering
inventory as well as creating survey pages for regular, seasonal,
and promotional items, store signage and Point of Sale material --
Manage the product photo library and create, organize, and maintain
merchandising material including the new product sales brochure--
Create monthly sales reports, maintain price and product lists as
well as renew broker agreements and assist in creating and
maintaining promotional contracts-- Provide support for monthly
gross profit maintenance and review net gross profit analysis and
SKU movement -- Coordinate deadlines for seasonal items, provide
year over year recaps by customer, retrieve orders by customer and
provide operations with case estimates-- Complete new vendor set
ups as well as maintenance in vendor portals-- Support key
marketing events / tradeshows by aranging meetings, ensuring
conference rooms are set up, booth and badge registration is
complete, customer invitations and booth location announcements are
sent out timely-- Participate in regular sales team meetings and
take responsibility for recapping sales improvement initiatives and
other assigned action items -- Assist with the training of new
Sales employees on internal systems and procedures-- Follow up on
inquiries relating to quotes, orders, products or inventory--
Coordinate the preparation and shipping of product samples and
sales collateral to customers-- Travel as required for trade shows,
seminars, customer visits, or sales calls-- Gather and analyze
feedback received from trade shows, product launches, etc., to
optimize investments and reinforce brand identity target ROI for
sales and marketing initiatives -- Access and manage customer
portals and new business setup processes-- Maintain and update
product specification information for customer requests -- Customer
and Broker communication -- Partner with Sales, Operations and
Finance to create and maintain forecasting models and data-- Gather
information from other internal functional areas as needed for
customersRequirements: Qualifications (Education/Experience):--
Bachelor's degree in business, sales and marketing, or closely
related field preferred-- 3+ years of related work experience in
sales support, marketing, or business required-- Food or
manufacturing industry experience desired-- Proficient in Microsoft
Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher --
Experience using Microsoft OneNote, Adobe Acrobat Adobe Creative
Cloud: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop desired-- Excellent verbal
and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach
to communicating both within and outside of the organization--
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability
to multi-task, prioritize, utilize time efficiently, and meet
deadlines in a fast-paced environment -- Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills-- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial
spirit and the ability to work independently and as part of a
team-- Flexible and willing to learn new concepts, processes, and
