Since Global's inception, we have committed ourselves to donate 10% of net profits to worthy causes and prioritizing quality of life for employees. - -Job Details: -Job Title: -Director of Domestic Sales -Job Category: -Sales - -Department/Group: -Domestic -Travel Required: -35%Location: -Naperville Office - -Position Type: -Full-Time, Salary -Salary Range: -$90,000-$100,000 -Date posted: -March 3, 2023 -HR Contact: -Jeff Niedholdt -Position Start Date: -Immediately - -Primary Responsibilities: -The Director of Domestic Sales role is accountable for managing the Domestic Sales Team -and developing profitable sales for our clients' products across all the domestic regions as well as supporting the overall sales growth of the company, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for success include relationship building with manufacturers, distributors, and retailer personnel. - Additional responsibilities -include periodic vendor and retailer reviews, reporting, industry show attendance, and up to 35% travel and other duties -required to drive company growth. -Essential Functions: -

  • Direct all Sales activities and efforts for Global client brands in the retail food industry across all sales regions. -
  • Managing the Global Domestic Sales Team. -
  • Accountable for sales and point of distribution expansion as well as Global operating costs. -
  • Work closely with Global client partners and develop strong business relationships. - -
  • Execute brand promotional plans and strategies at retail. -
  • Develop strong relationships with distributor Account Managers.
  • Participate in industry selling events such as industry shows and sales meetings.
  • Represent Global client brands in retailer category reviews.
  • Identify business opportunities and report them to the team.
  • Participate in client and retailer business reviews.
  • Develop and execute sales presentations to retailers.
  • Proficient in new client brand market launches. -
  • Adhere to corporate values and mission statement defining corporate vision. -
  • Develop and utilize appropriate analytical reports.
  • Maintain safeguards of confidential company information. -Qualifications / Additional Skills /Aptitude: -
    • Strong Microsoft office data skills especially, Excel (Formulas, Pivot Tables etc.)
    • 5+ years of management experience -
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively through all organizational levels. -
    • Excellent customer service in grammar, verbal, and written communication. -
    • Sense of urgency, attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Resourceful, results-oriented, and organized. -
    • Demonstrated ability to think through and creatively problem-solve. -
    • Willingness to take responsibility for personal actions, decisions, and results. -
    • Capable of performing multiple projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities often with time-conflicting pressures. -
    • Ability to recognize and pursue business opportunities without being directed, acting quickly and decisively when appropriate. -
    • Functions well in a team environment. -
