Job Description:
Herrmann Ultrasonics is seeking a dynamic and skilled Sales
Engineer to join our innovative team. In this pivotal role, you
will leverage your technical expertise and industry experience to
drive sales and maintain Hermanns leadership in providing top-tier
ultrasonic welding solutions to the automotive, medical, and
packaging industries. This role not only requires an acute
understanding of engineering principles but also an ability to
translate complex technical details into clear benefits for our
clients. Develop and nurture relationships with both existing and
potential clients to understand their technical needs and how our
solutions can meet them. Prepare and deliver technical
presentations explaining products or services to customers and
prospective customers. Collaborate with sales teams to understand
customer requirements, to promote the sale of company products, and
to provide sales support. Confer with customers and engineers to
assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements. Plan
and modify products to meet customer needs. Help clients solve
problems with installed equipment. Recommend improved materials or
machinery to customers, showing how changes will lower costs or
increase production. Help in researching and developing new
products. Proven technical skills in understanding and discussing
engineering concepts and machinery. Strong communication and
interpersonal skills, with an ability to articulate complex
technical information in a clear and concise manner. Effective
problem-solving and analytical skills. Proficiency in customer
relationship management (CRM) software and MS Office. Ability to
work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Medical

Certification in Sales Management (CSM) preferred but not required.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or similar could be
advantageous.
