Job Description:
RN-Swing UnitThe RN provides quality general and psychiatric
nursing care to patients hospitalized for emotional or psychiatric
disorders; serves actively and constructively as a member of the
multi-disciplinary treatment team, supporting the organization and
program philosophy of care; to ensure the safety and well-being of
each patient. # Education, Skills and/or Experience Required:
Maintain information as highly confidential Nursing degree
Education, Skills and/or Experience Preferred: One-year psychiatric
experience Basic knowledge of abnormal psychology as typically
found in the psychiatric population Familiarity with management of
a therapeutic level system and understanding of system of rewards
and consequences License/Certification Required: Current State of
Illinois Registered Nurse license Current CPR Certification issued
by either American Heart Association or Red Cross CPI (Crisis
Prevention Intervention) certification within 90 days of hire #
